Cornwall Ramblers

The Penwith and Kerrier group of Conwall Ramblers covers the west of Cornwall from Portreath on the north-west coast, west to Land’s End, easterly along the south coast, around the Lizard peninsula and up to and including the Helford river estuary. The landscape is varied with the coast path, beaches, harbours, archaeological sites, old mining sites, open moors and hidden valleys. They have a walk at least once a week all year round led by local leaders.

Penwith Woodland Burial Place

Rose Farm is a beautiful, peaceful, country setting in which to be buried. A tree is planted on every grave and this, in turn, helps the environment and provides habitat for birds and many species of wild life. The full circle of life. Rose Farm has been a farm since Iron Age times and in adjacent fields you will find cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, ducks, geese, and hens - happy animals that create a feeling that the place is all about life, as well as death. The Pets’ Memorial Gardens which also exists at Rose Farm was established in 1988. Human burials have taken place there since 2000.
