West Penwith Community Bus Association

West Penwith Community Bus has been in service since 1985. They mainly operate a demand and response service known as Dial-a-Ride which offers a flexible pick up and drop off point and, wherever possible, a door to door service. This service offers transport in the West Penwith area and covers nine villages in the surrounding rural area. The Association is run by a voluntary committee and employs a part-time administrator and six part-time drivers. They are a non-profit making organisation which, in the main, provides transport to people who have no access to transport, have difficulty in using public transport, are students, aged over 60 or who have difficulty in walking. Buses are equipped with wheelchair access and assistance dogs travel free of charge.
