Mounts Bay Singers

Mounts Bay Singers was formed in 2001 by Sheila Farmer who had a library of music and exciting ideas for a new mixed-voice choir. It's a mixed voice choir of about 35 voices. The choir has built up an eclectic repertoire with serious and humorous, religious and secular pieces. It includes short classical pieces, traditional songs from various countries, songs from musicals, pop songs and challenging and beautiful modern pieces. The choir meets at St Mary’s Catholic School, Peverell Road, Penzance every Tuesday evening between 7.15pm and 9.15pm. There are no auditions. Reading music is an advantage but certainly not a requirement.
